Malate Construction and Development Corp.’s (MCDC’s) subsidiary, Ovialand Inc., recently launched a landmark residential project in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

Billed as the Terrazza de Sto. Tomas, the house-and-lot development marks the company’s maiden foray into low-cost housing. A total of 333 units are offered for P1.7 to P3.2 million each, with three models to choose from.

The first, Amore, is a single-detached unit with a lot area of 100-189 square meters. Duplex units, called the Dolce, have a lot area spanning 76-144 square meters. The third, Bacci, are quad units with a lot area of 55-68 square meters.

Terrazzo de Sto. Tomas is also Ovialand’s first masterplanned community. Costing P500 million in total, the development sits within a 5.8-hectare property, 55 percent of which will be open spaces. Its amenities include a sports and recreational court (inclusive of a mini football field and a basketball half-court), a multipurpose clubhouse, a swimming pool, and landscaped pocket gardens.
